We come from two distant places, Grotte in Italy and Kano in Nigeria. We met by chance one evening in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, on 27 January 2019, while celebrating our birthdays with friends. From that night, our story began to take shape through memories.

We weathered a pandemic, bought and furnished our first home, organised weddings in three different countries, and moved across the Atlantic. Along the way, we also travelled, faced our differences, achieved the unthinkable, and opened our families to something new and extraordinary.

The essence of these memories remainsetched like the taste of a lemon—sharp, intense, impossible to forget.

We cannot wait for the 20th of May to come,to create a new memory just as vivid with the people closest to us.
